Settling on a New Date

October 23 & 24, 2009 is looking like the final dates for next years Ceol Na Pioba Solo Bagpipe Competition in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The reason for the jumping about was to avoid conflicting with other new and old festivals becoming sanctioned. In the next year, the Southwest branch of the EUSPBA will continue to grow offering even more opportunity for camaraderie and competition.

In addition to a new date, the CNP Shreveport Solo Bagpipe competition is also planning a new Kitchen Piping Competition.
